Description

A detailed wooden field watch tower STL designed for WWII and historical miniature wargaming. The simple timber construction makes it suitable for a wide range of battlefield settings, including Normandy, the Western Front, Eastern Front, military camps, airfields and defensive positions.

The tower features textured wooden beams, cross-braced supports, a ladder, raised observation platform and a simple corrugated roof. The open platform provides space for a miniature observer, guard or sentry.

The model is divided into separate printable sections, including the main support structure, observation platform and removable roof, making printing and tabletop access easier.

Ideal for WWII, interwar, Cold War and rural military terrain.

Designed for home 3D printing and scaled for 28mm miniatures.

  • No supports needed
  • Fits on a standard 20x20 cm printer bed
  • Easily rescalable for other game scales (e.g., 20mm, 32mm)
  • This model includes crisp brick textures, distinct window frames, and realistic roof tiles, ideal for painting and weathering to match your tabletop theme.

The files are set at 28mm (1/56) Scale and can easily be printed on a Creality K1. Furthermore, they can be easily scaled up or down to 1/120 for FDM printers.

114% - 32mm (1/50)
100% - 28mm (1/56)
77,77% - 20mm (1/72)
64% - HO (1/87)
56% - 15mm (1/100)

15mm Scale is compatible with large-scale fantasy and historical battles, such as Warmaster or other small-scale medieval wargames.

20mm Scale is less commonly used for fantasy settings, but can suit model builders or players looking to integrate terrain with historical collections.

28mm Scale is the most popular choice and fits a wide range of games, including Dungeons & Dragons, Frostgrave, Mordheim, Kings of War, and many other skirmish or narrative-driven systems.

32mm Scale works well with slightly larger, more detailed miniatures used in modern fantasy RPGs and board games, such as Cthulhu: Death May Die or Massive Darkness, where a more cinematic table presence is desired.
