Relive one of the most iconic and tension-filled locations of the Cold War with this detailed miniature of Checkpoint Charlie, as it stood in its operational form in 1989 — a final echo of divided Berlin before the Wall fell.

Unlike the small tourist booth that stands there today, this model represents the real Cold War structure, the checkpoint that once marked the frontline between East and West, democracy and dictatorship, NATO and Warsaw Pact. Sandwiched between looming ideological giants, this structure bore silent witness to decades of espionage, escapes, and stand-offs that could have spiraled into full-scale war.

Please note that all parts come unpainted and unprimed, though I ensure they are cleaned up before shipping. Some small fibers may still be present. Buildings come in either grey or black and are available in three scales: 15mm, 20mm, and 28mm.

The bridge comes in separate parts and must be assembled. While no instructions are included, the assembly is straightforward and intuitive.

This building is also available in 1/87 HO scale, ideal for model railroad collectors. Note that the structure comes unpainted.
