The BTR-D is a Soviet airborne armored personnel carrier, introduced in 1974 and first seen by the West during the Soviet–Afghan War. Based on the BMD-1, it was designed for rapid deployment by airborne forces. Known as the "Armored Personnel Carrier of the Airborne Forces," it is a versatile vehicle ideal for wargaming setups featuring Soviet-era airborne units.

Due to requests from the model railway community, we now offer HO 1/87 scale printing for many vehicles and all buildings.

🚨 This model is a 3d printed resin kit and will require assembly.
It is hollow inside, reducing its weight and material use while remaining a sturdy miniature.
You will need strong glue for the parts to stick together. Simple model kit glue will not work.
3D resin prints do not need to be primed before painting. You can start painting right away with any acrylic paint of your choice.

Be aware that miniatures can be broken if mishandled.
