Grimdark terrain is commonly designed for 15mm, 28mm, and 32mm miniatures. 15mm scale is ideal for larger battlefields and mass-combat games, allowing you to fit more terrain on the table. 28mm scale is the classic heroic size and the most widely used for sci-fi and grimdark skirmish games, offering a great balance between detail and footprint. 32mm scale features slightly larger, more detailed miniatures and is popular in modern trench-style grimdark systems such as Trench Crusade, creating a more imposing and cinematic feel on the tabletop.
